Definition of blog

A blog (shortening of “weblog”) is an online journal or informational website displaying information in the reverse chronological order, with the latest posts appearing first. It is a platform where a writer or even a group of writers share their views on an individual subject.

There are two ways to go about this. The first option is to use a free blog service through which you would be able to create your blog in a few minutes. The second option is to download and install blog software on your existing web site. In either case, you maintain and update your blog by adding new entries through the blog software.
